Zoetrope Viewer Privacy Policy

Zoetrope Viewer is an iPhone app created by Animated Record Company for viewing and recording zoetrope vinyl records and slipmats.
We have designed Zoetrope Viewer to work locally on your device and to collect as little information as possible.
Camera and microphone
Zoetrope Viewer requires access to your iPhone's camera to display and record zoetrope animations.
If you choose to record video, the app uses your iPhone's microphone to record audio alongside the video.
Camera footage and microphone audio are processed locally on your device. Animated Record Company does not receive, access or store your camera footage, videos or audio on its servers.
You can control Camera and Microphone permissions at any time through your iPhone's Settings.
Photos
Videos you record using Zoetrope Viewer are stored locally within the app on your device. Animated Record Company does not receive, access or store these recordings.
You can choose to save individual videos to your iPhone's Photos library. Zoetrope Viewer may request access to Photos in order to do this.
You can control Photos permissions at any time through your iPhone's Settings.
Personal information
Zoetrope Viewer does not require an account or login.
We do not collect personal information through the app.
Analytics and tracking
Zoetrope Viewer does not contain third-party advertising, analytics or tracking technologies.
We do not use the app to track you across other apps or websites.
Apple may provide Animated Record Company with aggregated information about App Store downloads, installations and usage through its App Store services. This information is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy practices and the privacy and analytics settings of your device.
Third parties
Zoetrope Viewer does not send your camera footage, recordings or audio to Animated Record Company or third-party services.
The app may contain links to the Animated Record Company website. If you choose to visit our website, your use of that website is governed by the Animated Record Company website privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
Videos recorded using Zoetrope Viewer are stored locally on your device and remain available in the app until you choose to delete them or delete the app.
You can delete recordings from within Zoetrope Viewer at any time. Deleting the app will also remove recordings stored within the app, unless you have separately saved copies to your Photos library.
Animated Record Company does not receive or store your recordings or personal information on its servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Zoetrope Viewer changes or if our privacy practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown above.
